The troops have often commented how we had noise comming in through the second door passenger side on our Puma 110. It was most noticable on wet road where you would hear lots of splashing as if the window was down slightly. Had the door checked by the dealer and it was fitted o.k. and the window was fine. To cut a long story short I found the problem. The bottom rubber on the door was a little long long and it overlapped the door frame rubber being pushed out in the process leaving a little gap for sound to enter the vehicle. A simple snip with the scissors solver the problem. Might help somone else.

:DAlso if you look at the rubber along the bottom of the door sometimes it is "kinked" or "bent" at the ends so does not fit flush when the door is closed. This also lets noise in. The rubber stops short of the rectangular rubber block fitted to the edge of the door frame. If the rubber is straight and goes to the little rubber block there is no problem. This very rarely happens. The little rubber block has a habit of falling of aswell. Just one of those little design problems you get with a new vehicle like the Defender. No doubt when Land Rover have been making them for awhile they will get this little bug ironed out.
