Hi All
My mate has an 07 Puma. Had several issues with it (l know...hard to believe).

One issue that LR dealers can not work out relates to the hazards lights flashing if he travels over rough dirt surfaces at speed. Too stop them he has to turn the engine off/on.

It now done 40,000kms and serviced by the dealer - who has NOOOOO idea why.

(This is when l like having one of the last TD5s).

Any ideas?

Sounds like the old interia switch issue that affects various model Land Rovers over rough roads.

X2. It sure sounds like the inertia switch. Haven't had this issue on mine and I've done a few thousand km's of rough dirt roads.

D1 used to be really bad for doing this to me on severe corrugations.

It could be a loose connection so might pay to check the ECU plugs under the seat and also the ones under the bonnet to the cut out switch. The ECM should be OK as they are clamped connections.

My d1 will do this when the little green box under the glove box is knocked. It's the one that controls the central locking and alarm/immobilizer.
