Happy Easter to all
Looking at changing my atf and filter but don't like the look of the 6 AT sump retaining bolts much. A couple appear hard to get to and to get something on. Mr. U. Panzer's how to guide says just undo 'em & shouldn't be tight but for me that usually means the opposite. Any suggestions on the least difficult way people have found of getting them off.
As its Easter I am trying to avoid the use of obscene language & I don't want to pull anything else off if I can avoid it. Any guides I have seen don't say you need to.
Cheers

Urban Panzer put up a pretty handy link in post #5 in this thread.

Just a hint also, when I did mine I couldn't find a proper oil pump to fit a 5 litre bottle but I found that one of those el cheapo siphon pumps will do the trick with ATF. 1/4 drive sockets make the job easy too.

Yep I was thinking 1/4 drive sockets was the go with an extension. Only thing thin enough to fit around the bolts. Urban Panzers stuff was helpful as always but doesn't comment on undoing the things as a couple of them look trickey to get at.

10mm 1/4 drive socket and 6" extension and you'll be fine, they are no where near as hard as the D1 is to do. You will have no issue Im sure, the only thing that can happen is "if" the spacing blocks have been overtightened by the the previous person to remove them, they can be cracked and fall in half as you take em off, didnt happen on mine, but 2 were broken on a friends TD5.
