My series 3 stage one pickup

So i thought id share my new toy with all.

Bought for 700 dollars plus 400 in costs to get it from victoria.That also included a day at corowa.

1980 stage one v8
blown gearbox (have spare from previous project that i never finished)
Body not to bad
Has engine oil cooler option


So what have i done so far , well the interior has been mostly stripped . the dash has had the vinyl taken off and new vinyl purchased and sewn on corners just need to fill holes with fomofill and glue on.

Ill finish the inside then move onto the gearbox then diffs and springs.

The motor runs so ill put off swapping it for another thats in the shed , for now .

I like S3 Stag 1's. Especially with a V8.

Was that a coil sprung chassis nearby? It'd look good on that.

Thanks , yes that is a r/r chassis early 80s , it was for my hybrid . but i have decided to just do the stage one up.
