I've been looking around for a 4WD course in Adelaide/SA that specialises in LR's and specifically D3/4's, but can't find anything. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks.

Why don't you plan a holiday to Perth?

Contact the LR club of SA. One of the members is a professional trainer and now owns a D3.

Contact the Range Rover / Discovery Club of SA. Range Rover Club of SA (http://rangeroverclubofsa.tripod.com/)
We currently have around six members with D3's and two 4WD SA, Driver Training Unit assessors. As a bonus we are a very friendly club who do regular trips away as well as have interesting monthly meetings.:)

Thanks guys.
A holiday to Perth sounds like a plan - if only I had more holidays available to me :(
I hadn't really considered joining a club, but it sounds like a good idea. How does the Range Rover Club compare to the Land Rover Register of SA?

LRR of SA has a good mix of vehicles, including Discos and Rangies (lots of Defenders of course).
The training is a good introduction to doing things safely. Only costs $30, but you have to be a membe at a cost of $50 (I think). Still, $80 is cheap even if you didn't get involved in anything else the club does.
