What's a 1988 Isuzu worth.

I just bought an isuzu with 340,000 clicks.

Bad points
Been sitting a couple of years- a bit faded.
Interior is pretty shabby. Seats torn, grubby, roof lining is black with soot.
Serious dent in rear pass quarter (repairable)
5 speed gearbox sitting in the rear, needs bearings.
No reg or RWC

Good points
Motor is as sweet as.:)
120 Litre fuel tank
Good Bullbar,towbar & side steps.
Factory aircon (Is that a good point??)
Complete vehicle.
Otherwise straight& no rust

I was offered 7000 grand for my donner vehicle, and all he really wanted was the engine and box. But I said no as I used the engine and box in my other county.:D

I guess you get to a point where the value of the thing in parts boosts the value as a whole. I assume the GB in the rear means that there isn't one between the flywheel and the TC.....

I'd pay 4-5.. no rust and the long range tank keep the value up for me.

Are you sure you've got the year correct. An '88 model would have push button handles and different stripes. Being a 5 speed with those stripes, I'd guess it's a late '85 or '86 model.

Definitely MY86 - painted (over gal) body strips.
Push button door handles MY87 on.
No ribs on roof deleted during MY89 (I think!).

The advert said 1988 but I knew it probably wasn't
I haven't looked at it thoroughly yet.
I bought it as a buy it now on Ebay & went straight around there as its local. No good hassling as its a done deal.
The towie's want my firstborn as a deposit to pick it up, being Easter, so I'm waiting till Tues to have it collected.
I'll let you know what the compliance plate says.

As the ad says, LT85. Its exackery the same as my other Isuzu. I must check the chassis number against year of manufacture but it is within 1800 on the chassis number to my 1985 Isuzu, so it probably is 85 manufacture.
