Dont need to go over the fitting procedures posted on this and other forums as they cover the basics fine. I have just fitted my Arnott Rears ( Arnott fronts done last weekend) and after pulling the pins and air lines they would not budge. After a frustrating time thinking there was another fixing I fashioned 2 long hooks from a wire coat hanger which I could hook over the top rim of the spring and get enough force to release the hardened concrete / mud grip enabling removal. Thought this might help others if they come across a stuck spring.
My old rears are still really good having been replaced by the previous owner a few years ago. Zero signs of cracking or rub ware. I will put them up for sale in due course on the market place. The fronts were pretty much shot, one leaking and the other badly cracked but holding air.
