Does anyone have any contacts on where to get a case like this, doesnt need to be exactly like tis one but a good quality version.

3.5" USB 2.0 External SATA Hard Drive Case Enclosure - eBay, Hard Disk Enclosures, Storage Accessories, Computers. (end time 28-Apr-10 14:42:10 AEST) (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/3-5-USB-2-0-External-SATA-Hard-Drive-Case-Enclosure_W0QQitemZ280485855828QQcmdZViewItemQQptZ LH_DefaultDomain_15?hash=item414e428254)

I have one that has blown the power pack & the hard drive has some photos i need to get off it of the kids etc.

I would still like to get it up & running so a whole set up is what i require.

If not any recommendations, i presume ebay would be a good start.

Thanks.:)

I have one just like that for a PATA.
Back to your problem.
Techstores - Techspace, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Computer Shops, Computer Parts - Computer Swapmeets (http://www.techstores.com.au/TechnologyMarkets/)
I go there often with friends. One friend bought a desktop version that plugs in via USB. It accepts both 3 and 5 inch drives and is hot swapable. Perfect for retrieving photo's, etc.
Or, you could look for a suitable power supply replacement or a complete case.
See you there.
