I know this has been covered previously but here ar a few pics. which may help in drying out the carpets.
I have obviously been carrying around some water ballast for quite a while. My wife mostly drives the car at present and when she said the carpets were damp I probably gave here some smart-alec reply.
Come to think of it I did notice a trickle of water from the floor-level air-con outlets the other day.
( I hope that's all it is as I also had a new windscreen fitted a couple of months ago) I will check the air-con drain pipes in the next day or so.
My Fronts were absolutley waterlogged and there was also some dampness just near the Rear centre console outlet......indicating an air-con drain blockage?? rather than windscreen??
Anyway here are some pics. to help with the carpet removal/lifting.
First you need to remove the sill-trim as a minimum. Pic shows trim with centre cover strip which is easy to pry out ..giving access to phillips head screws.
It also helps to take off the trim around the seat bases..held on by screws and one expanding Christmas-tree clip at the outer rear.
I also removed the trim on the B-pillar ( seat belt pillar). See Pics.
To do this :
Pry-off the pillar door-seal rubber ( pinch-weld) and his exposes some retaining clips for the pillar trim..lever these off the pillar..they stay attached to the plastic trim.
Loosen the top trim-half similarly... but no need to remove.
The bottom half is fixed in 3 points : one at the bottom belt roller-bracket and two plastic "stand-off" arms under the join mid-way up the pillar.
BE CAREFUL HERE! pry them off the pillar without breaking them. I levered the blue clips out... rather than put pessure on the plastic arms
The photo will show what you are working with.
The 3 fixing points are the ones with the Blue clips.
