Front Guard compatibility

I'm looking at making up some better condition front guards from some spare panels. The guard top panel and the connected engine bay panel from a series III- are they compatible with the same parts for a 2a? I notice that there is a different angle towards the bulkhead attachment point ie. the seriesIII has 2 bolt width of top panel and the 2a has 3 bolt width. If I changed some would it still look ok, in you opinion?

The Series 3 guard will have a "cutaway" section as it nears the firewall,that is to accomodate the brake booster that was fitted to S 3's, and by getting a S3 brake pedal box and booster assembly you can fit boosted brakes easily to a 2/2a,I have recently got a R/hand S3 guard top so I can fit it to my army 2a,which will allow me to fit boosted brakes :)
