I think not :(

Seems there are no spares available to rebuild the compressor :(

Try here for a new compressor, ex UK $498 AUD + postage.

thanks Kev might have to do that i am going to ask our work shop if he can bore it out and put a stainless steel sleeve in it as it is mainly the bore that is worn or put an after-market compressor in . i could use the original dryer by taking the motor and piston off and cut out a steel plate in its place to blank it off and use the 10mm pushlock fitting as an inlet from the new pump that way all the plumbing and valves don't have to be modified . Maybe ??

Maybe ?? .... haven't really heard of anyone succesfully rebuilding one of these.

If you do, make sure you take photo's and document the process, then post it up here on AULRO for the benefit of others.

... same if you fitup an alternative aftermarket solution.

Good luck!

Hi,

Give the "AirBag Man" a call on Freecall:1800 AIRBAG. They are located up here at Brendale in Brisbanes northern suburbs.

The link below shows landrover parts including the compressors and it states they have the pistons and compressor parts.

Land Rover Parts (http://www.airbagman.com.au/landroverparts.html)

When I was in there for my airbags I notice the compressor repair kits & thought I needed to remember that.

All the best.

There are only two things wrong with the last post,,
one. it should be in the markets,,,
and two. they all fail from overwork or water ingestion.
Plenty of advice on here about where to find replacement pumps,,,

and what to do to stop them failing again.

Well a bit of good news I got my compressor running again , I pulled the piston ring out cut a small strip out of my rum can put it in the piston ring groove and refitted the piston ring , installed the compressor and away she went will take it for a drive and see if it holds up:)
