Why do you want your Local Area Network to die?

Oh.

Nice:D. Haven't the Vic prices gone mad lately though? Almost a g for Euro plates - and they're not even proper alphanumeric ones like the NSW Euros.

And the rest - I knew a guy who had "Lance" plates. They cost $5k in 1996.

SSHH, dont say that - Vicroads will put up the prices.:D

$495 here, but I wonder if there is a sting in the tail- ie higher renewal fee's. - I bet they have a grand plan:mad:

No renewal fees in QLD. Pay once, then you own them.

I think it's cheaper if there is a number in them from memory. i.e. Defender1 would be cheaper than Defender plates.

$2295 to be exact, if they were available. Once only fee, yours for life. Unfortunately, both are taken

These are mine cost me $2200 5 year ago and it cost an extra $200 per letter if you wanted anymore after 6 so I couldnt justify $400 for two more 'Es'

Nice one DJ. Hopefully the authorities will get the two confused when (if?) you get a speed camera fine and you can get off on a technicality. :D

Love all the plates, looks like a "Show us Your Plates" thread is needed:angel: My dad has SLEEPY - he said it's in the will:cool:

Just the name of my Defender - Safara.

I was actually interested to see that they do flexible plastic plates. I reckon they'd be a bit harder wearing than the standard metal ones...my front plate is a bit sad after various adventures off road... :(
