View Full Version : Pic color/contrast, adjust, yes /no

Dont often play with pics off the camera but sometimes they look better (probable often) when tweaked a bit. Heres two pics taken today one has had auto level adjust and the other nothing done. I just feel that it makes them look a bit blocky or something. Maybe its lazy but if i print some thing to frame I dont tweak, maybe I need to spend more time on the comp playing and learning or get a better program. Using Photoshop 5.5

There is nothing wrong in adjusting the photos during PP.

If you take one negative (film) to a lab they will adjust the machine or do their tweak in the dark room.

Adjusting the image using levels and curves is one of the basic PP work in any photo.
