Engine number location D3

Hi all,
Anyone able to point me in the right direction for the location of the engine number on a D3 TDV6, 2008 model.
Is it able to be viewed without removing any covers etc?

The EngineNo. is phyically stamped to the block on the drivers side beneath the exhaust manifold, only way to see the original is to remove engine:eek:
But in LR's wisdom they made a plate to sit atop the passenger side rocker cover. You will have to remove the engine accoustic cover only to see this.
Remove engine oil filler cap & pull cover upwards, there is 4 cup sockets holding it down.
