Where's the Transfer Case fill plug?

Where's the Transfer Case fill plug?

Am i blind? I have been looking with a torch for the last 30mins!

All i can see is this between the handbrake and the rear of the transfer case.

Good on ya finding it, its pretty hard to get to with where the hand brake is haha just thought i'd give you the heads up :angel:

Not helped by hiding behind the handbrake cable and underneath the heat shield.....

Is the heat shield only on the V8's?

I think it is in both, i don't see why it wouldn't be, i cant remember exactly where the shielding was exactly but i do remember seeing it, the hand brake cable is just frustrating though i remember!

the heat shield is on the td5 too, lookin at it today wondering what gets so hot there.

The v8 exhaust combines from the 2 sides of the motor to a single pipe just before the TC and then straight underneath it...hence the heat shield.

But i cant imagine the TD5 exhaust takes the route?
