View Full Version : A confession

Today I washed the Puma Tdci. Not only that but I gave it a coat of wax aswell. Some people I know would rather keep behaviour like this quite but I think that being open is the best way to go.
While polishing the wax off the curvaceous, firm, rounded wing fronts I did not think of Pamela Anderson once. I must confess that this behaviour is not a once off but something that I indulge in on a fairly regular basis. It does not occur everytime I see Pamela Anderson on the television, but I must confess that by a strange coincidence she was on last night.
Am I alone in this unspeakable behavour or does anyone else want to own up to subjecting their Defender to this dastardly treatment.
I know that I could be banned from a site like this for such behavour, but try as I might I just can't fight it. I have tried hiding the carwax but I always find it. Maybe it should be placed on the top shelf in shops to keep temptation away.
Good Heavens, I see that there is another episode of Baywatch on this week. I hope this carwax is not too damaging on my skin.

Depend on what skin you're rubbing it on.
"Its my body and I'll clean it as fast as I like" isn't an excuse that cuts the mustard.

I'm sorry spud... i indulge too...

i wait until nightfall and then do it... not because im ashamed but a dark blue defender over here is a bloody stupid idea! you wouldnt beleive how hot it gets...

the results anyway are shameful, this photo was after a red dirt corrugated road run on a HOT day with vehicles in front of us so we were well dusted, and a road run of 600+ k's (375miles) The dirt would just NOT stick to it. the amount of abuse i took from other defender drivers about its shineyness and it being clean... i had to hide! no matter what i said to defend myself it would not work.....

Well, I was just thinking last night, whilst standing outside sipping a cup of fine brew coffee, it was 8:30ish at night, and my Disco was parked outside. I had a good perve I admit, admiring the lines and its confident, but yet not arrogant, stance on the road.

Luckily no one was out to witness this

Now I feel guilty for wanting to polish the Disco..... :p Had it since December and still havent touched it apart from a wash or three..... its killing me..... really....... :nazilock:

Oh OK.... I polished the RHF fender JUST to see what it COULD look like.....

Think I may have rubbed a bit somewhere around the rear too but it was all a blur and I really can't remember anything....
