G'day all.

Just writing to ask if there is anything specific to look out for when running over the pits. I own a 93 V8 Disco 1. Dropping the lift out but was just wondering if I will need to go captain anal on it, ie oil drips etc?? Am located in WA if regs or whatever change. Any advice would be greatly apprecieted.

im just posting i havent heard the term" captain anal" for yonks

"IF" youve got oil leaks......i mean i know landys dont leak.......
but just on the off chance that you do.....give it a degrease......
as long as theres othing dripping you should be fine.....

make sure all the lights work.....all the tyres are roadworthy.....the seatbelts all retract and are not frayed.......then cross your fingers and go for it......

friday afternoon used to be a good time for going over the pits in the good ol days......
the inspectors were more interested in going home rather than inspecting.....so would pretty much just quickly pass the
vehicle rather than waste time inspecting it and filling extra paperwork for not passing......


they may just check the items you got defected for only and nothing else.....
it all depends on their mood i guess........

Hey, its an oldie but a goodie. I may only be 22 but i'm pretty oldschool in most generalities! Might bring a couple more corkers out soon enough...

They pinged me for no bumper ends... Just proving their authority because I was DD, my mistake I know but was salt in the wounds. Will get down and dirty, with any luck she'll be sweet as soon enough showing the dunes who's boss!
