Has anyone done this successfully? I managed to get the separate contour and road maps working (downgraded to a previous version of Mapsource...known error with latest version) however installing the combined map still comes up with an error. Also, when I try to copy anything to the GPS unit (Nuvi 255w) Mapsource will crash entirely.
Heading off for Toolangi tomorrow morning. Would have loved to have got this working as the maps supplied with the unit are useless in the bush. I tried Shonkymaps which were good for contours but has very little of the tracks in Toolangi. Also just tried Tracks4Australia. Again, very little in Toolangi ('unpaved road' is about all the detail you get even on roads like Marginal Rd).

I would buy an SD card and load the topo on that and keep (maps)
them seperate
My definelty works on 255w
