Anyone know if there's anywhere I can download Top Gear segments for free ?
Don't want whole series necessarily or even whole episodes (necessarily) but just single segments relating to say particular vehicles ?

There are snippets on youtube, but I doubt there would be other places other than the BBC where it could happen due to copyright.

pirate bay  You'll probably only find full episodes

The Pirate Bay - The world's most resilient bittorrent site (http://thepiratebay.org/search/top%20gear/0/99/0)

be careful though - its the wild, wild west in utorrent land

Can't download from you tube though.

s LR @ s - Let's use the words Aston and Martin shall we.

Also to clarify I'm after sources where it's legal / authorised which is why I thought that individual segments may be available where full eps may not be. Cheers

Naturally I want to do the right thing. Naturally.

Yes you can. The downloaded files are stored in your browser cache. When it is finished downloading (the bar is fully extended), copy the file from the cache and stick .flv on the end. You can then open this in Apple Quicktime and play again. When I am doing this I usually have the cache folder open in a window and change the sort order to date. Then it is last file downloaded and at the top of the list.
