G’day all!
Brid here, from Cost Effective Maintenance (Est 1984). I know quite a few of you have used some of our DIY corrective maintenance products (for petrol & diesel engines) with great results, but for those who haven’t, what we offer is the ability to…
• Regain lost performance to engines, by restoring cleanliness to engine crankcases. The most persistent sludge, and even hard baked on carbon around rings (from over-heated engines, and those out of service for several years) can be removed with our Flushing Oil Concentrate. Such deposits can be the direct cause of smoke, power loss, over-heating, oil burning, blowby, hard starting, rough idle, filthy oil & sticking piston rings. Lots of customers have averted an impending rebuild.
• Regain lost performance to engines, by restoring cleanliness to carbies, fuel pumps and injectors and improved spray patterns. Fuel system deposits also cause power loss, poor economy, hard starting, smoke & rough idle.
• Safely decarbonize coked up engines, while you drive, without touching a spanner & no downtime. Our FTC Decarbonizer safely burns off accumulated carbon from combustion spaces, around exhaust valves & ports and even through turbochargers. It also helps keep EGR valves cleaner, and will deglaze cylinder bores. Ideal for running in new engines, as they won’t glaze even if driven lightly. Sussessful in averting lots of engine rebuilds.
• Reduce gear and bearing noise (diffs, transfers, etc). AW10 Antiwear carries a much higher load than the oil itself is capable of, and reduces frictional losses. Also quietens hydraulic tappets, valve noise and general engine noise. Cuts internal stresses in all lubricated components & postpones rebuilds.
Don’t underestimate the impact engine deposits have on performance! It’s very common for engines to appear to be worn out, but in fact, are mechanically sound, and severely gunked up with deposits. These ones we target, and ARE recoverable!
I know I’m stating the obvious here, but while many of our customers report exceptional improvements, these products do NOT fix problems caused by faulty or worn parts, or components that are not adjusted or tuned correctly. (Also, some caution is recommended before using the Flushing Oil Concentrate & FTC Decarbonizer in badly worn engines…esp older type petrol engines, as carbon will be removed from piston rings, and in some cases, may result in smoke or oil use.)
