Having a horn centre that was broken i worked out that a series 2/3 horn button will fit. Now it is a little big, so you have to turn it down to fit. Not an easy job as it is just a disc with nothing to hold. After finding a way to hold it,
reduced it in size and glued it to the spigot. I have a good spare horn push that you can hardly notice. Now you can say OH you can buy them here and there. But it cost me sweet bugger all to fix. The centre mark is the only tell tale mark you can see...........

The secret to holding something like that to turn is to glue it to something you can chuck using a glue you can completely remove - that way you don't need the centre mark.

That's all well and good if you can glue it in the certre to run true to start with. You havn't got mutch to work with.

True, but it can often be done - each case has to be considered on its merits.
