Gday All,

We can now ship prawns to Brisbane via Toll to there depot,

It will have to be done on the same terms as the WA guys as there is a minimum frieght charge involved per consignment.

There will need to be a minimum of 7x9kg boxes and it will have to be consigned to 1 person and you will have to organise a place to meet then pick it up together.I am unsure of where there depot is but will find out by tomorrow.

We can offer them at the same prices as for the WA guys.

I dont know what the prawn prices are like in Brisbane but would assume they would be the same or better than I can do, but am happy to supply them if people want.

Let me know if you are interested, or ned more info..

Cheers Ean

They will be this months Banana prawns packed in 3kg boxes.

Medium $42 ( size/ grade-15/25 per pound )

Large $52 (size/grade-under 15 per pound)

If you are comparing prices, get the person selling to tell you the prawn grade/size. It is measured in how many prawns make 1 pound.ie 15 or less is U/15..or a large prawns....21/30 is on the smaller end as it requires more to make the same weight..

sooo, we need to account for 21 3kg packets

The reason is that the minimum charge is the same price for 3kgs or 80kgs so for it to work 21x3kg boxes will cover the freight charge..

It needs to go to 1 peron on the consignment as they charge per consignment, so thats an extra $20 just to do the paperwork, hence why I need to send it all together as 1 whole consignment..

I'm interested, sounds like a good deal.

Are they going by road or air ?

If going by air I can pick them up from the Toll depot at Eagle farm, but only till the 23/5 as I'm having a career change.

Even if they are going by road I can still probably arrange to pick them up from the Toll Road depot at Richlands, but I have nowhere to store them so would have to meet up with the other buyers on the day or do a run through Brissie to the Northside, dropping them off on the way.
