Was doing some fly in/fly out work in the early part of last year...... used to park the car at the airport during the week, but one week left the D3 at home..... took me the better part of 6 weeks to get it back from Safari Barbie...... I can imagine it would be way worse with a D4......

Just wait till she drives it off road...... :(

Yep, did the same.

Wife was worried when we bought a BIG 4wd that it would be a tank to drive, too hard to park etc and not as much fun as her mini.

Hmmmm - I seem to be driving the mini a lot these days as the Disc is so easy to drive, you can see what is coming and those parking sensors make parking easy and it is easier for the kids to get in an out off for school.

Good luck Brad72, you will only see it on the weekends now.

A bit the same here but the D3 had to be a car the better half could/would want to drive. When I first got it I'm sure she was just saying all the right things about how good it was. After about a month she genuinely loved it and I'd find it hard now to convince her to go back to a regular sedan/wagon/hatch etc.

Gosh, you guys are not admitting that the D4 is a woman's car, are you? :o

My wife used to say that my LC100 was a slug to drive and it was like driving a school bus.
When I got the D3 she commented on how much more car like it was to drive and didn't mind driving it home if I had had too many ;).
Funny thing is the overall dimensions of the 2 vehicles are very similar:confused::confused:

My wife is the same with the D2,can't get her out of the drivers seat.I have the work van,so don't get to drive it much .Actually got to drive it yesterday,my excuse is i have to drive it to check it is OK.

She hates my son's defender though, key is in the wrong spot, funny gears, etc.
So it's safe sitting here, unless i wanna go for a run in it:)
