Rear Left Door

My rear left door has a problem with the lock.

It will lock the door when I push the button on the remote but won't unlock with thr remote or the button in the car. Every now and then it will unlock, like once in every 3 million clicks.

Any ideas? Or is it time for a new locking mechanism?

I had the same problem with my Disco's left rear door. It eventually gets to a point where it will not work at all.

Mine only unlocks the drivers door and on the second press the tailgate, all the other doors have to be opened from the inside using the handle ,any easy fixes would be appreciated as it sounds expensive to fix ?

Drivers door only on the first press is normal. The others should all unlock on the second press. If not you will need new door lock actuators. They are a non serviceable item on a D2. I had to replace my drivers one as it failed the day after I bought it.

Ouch , sounds expensive , will just have to keep unlocking the doors from the inside and prey the drivers door doesnt join the team

Yes! the actuators go,common problem,just happened to me.
Cost is around $180 from Rovacraft.
Difficult to fit,tight space,etc.
