Seems my 1982 range rover v8 is turning out to be cheaper to run than my 3 previous diesels were. (2 @ 300tdi and 1 @ 4bd1-t))

over the 4000 odd klms i have done since picking it up it is averaging around 16mpg and with the local gas price around the 68.9c mark ;)

that is about $10 per 1000klm cheaper...
