This may be the same one that I remember was sold to a Yank about 2 years ago!
Hopefully it does not have an automatic transmission!
$10,000 seems fair + freight + duty + quarantine cleaning and inspections, etc. would probably come close to doubling that price.
What a shame it isn't over here!

Typical yanks "1954 RANGE ROVER FIRE ENGINE NEW ZEALAND FIRE BRIGADE"
Looking at its history, it hasn't been reregistered in NZ since 1994 at which time it had done 5600 miles. It's unlikely to have gone around the clock.
Registration history is:
5,600 1994, April 8th as at change of owner
2,490 1980, May 15th as at change of owner
Has no WOF history, which is odd.
* Registration status: Lapsed
* Vehicle usage: Fire Brigade
* Cause of latest registration: New
* Date of first registration in New Zealand: 1954, December 14th
* Cancellation date of registration: 1996, November 1st
* Date of last registration: 1954, December 14th
* Was registered overseas?: No
* Licence type: L (Licence for normal road use)
* Licence expiry: 1994, October 7th (expired 15 years ago)
* Latest licence issued on: 1994, April 8th
* Continuous licence: No

EQ1479 is safe in California and presently registered and titled there as a Historical Vehicle. It starts immediately and runs well, after a simple tune-up. (one has to love these Landys) The odometer still shows 5900, however it no longer works. I appears to have been re-painted years ago, I added the roofs revolving beacon (because the owner let me do so) and the air horns (loud). Other than those minor transgressions, the truck runs great!

EQ 1479 was originally the Raetihi appliance and later sold to a works brigade at one of the freezing works.

If you have the resources, check for COF on the vehicle. From memory, all fire appliances were under COF, not WOF.
Cheers,
