In October I am moving from Melbourne, to the Northern Beaches of Cairns. Have a household of furniture and possibly a car to ship north. Before I hit the yellow pages, is there anyone who has any recommendations? I can box everything up, just need it loaded, and transported.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi Ken

I have had the pleasure of moving internationally and interstate in the last year..... both times with Crown relocations. We had our issues, and you always will. I have moved a lot in the last few years. What impressed me about Crown, and what seperates from others I have used over the years was how the issues were dealt with. No arguments, the customer was right and things were resolved.

Good luck!

I am glad that you had a good outcome with them. My last dealings with this company were anything but pleasant:mad:.

At work, we use Kent Removals. They have always delivered what they promised, without any problems.

Additionally, they have always given an accurate quote, and stuck by it.

Just wonder if put all the good in a ship container will be cheaper?

Talk to enough people and someone will have had a problem with eveyone out there. Like I said, we did have issues, but it was how they were resolved that impressed me...... That may just have been the contact I was lucky enough to have had.......

Very true. And to be fair, once I found someone that was interested, they did manage to sort things out for me fairly quickly.

Only catch was, that person ended up being the General Manager. But, as I said, once he got involved, things got moving... so to speak...:D
