Anyone recommend someone in the Geelong area to replace a county windscreen?
Also, are there any likely gotcha's such as rust etc that I should be aware of while its out?

Go for a smaller call at home fit outfit that don't have large advertising budgets & that is where the best value is.
Surround rubbers are almost as much cost as the Windscreen itself, so hopefully its in good nick.

Thanks Deejay. Will check the surround rubber once I get it home.
Is the rubber a genuine only item, or is there a generic section that will do the job?

The cheapest I've had done was through Otway Windscreens and Glass (Dec '08) when I had my County and Defender screens replaced at the same time. $155ea no new seal. 0432445103
DeeJay (not the DeeJay on here) is not a bad bloke to deal with too.

Thanks Murray. Did they come to you or was it on their premises.
I had a quote of $170 from Windscreen Power in Douro St today which seems reasonable given that yours was done in 2008 - I'd expect it to go up a little bit since then.

They did it at my place. A lot of the windscreen guys are pretty mobile as they do work for panel beaters etc.
I would guess that $170 is not a bad price.
