well i could have gone for my green P's today except i lost my red P's yesterday so the 3 month wait is on its not all bad makes it harder for me to go places so is more of an excuse to stay at home and work on my project whic is due in august:eek: so much work to do also save money on fuel and i have a couple of good friends that give me a lift if i need it and since i dont have much money and i hate taking things off people for nothing so to repay them i clean and wash their cars which they never do so a bit of a win win situation there.anyway time to get the calender and red texta out:angel:

Don't sweat it mate just do it with your chin up. The 3 months will pass quick enough and you'll be back on the road again.
Cheers,
Anthony.

Mate, I like you, you have made a bad situation into a positive one, go for it and learn that all might not be fair in life........... but's that life!!!:)

in every bad there is good(well most of the time) just sometimes its harder to find, life is too short to just dwell on the bad

Like Ausfree said, well done, youve taken it like a man and turned it positive!

another good bit... when the project is due in August, you'll have already got your lic back!

as I said before, its good to see someone who actually get on with the cards he is dealt and doesnt scream "no duff" at the dealer!

Im enjoying your resto thread, and its all coming together now, so keep it up
=you are keeing a lot of us inspired!

he got caught speeding through a school zone.

when on a probationary or provisional licence you can only amass 4 demerit points and you lose your lic for a set period
(in this case low speed through zone = 3 months). School zones and some other areas will amass all the points very quickly!

"Smurf" took it and span it to a positive, he's done his 3 months and now
(god help all of us!) he's back on the road.

Well done Tony, (slowly now mate, slowly!)

thanks everyone i got backi in the defender this morning and i was abit nervous to wether i still had it and i can tell you its like riding a bike you never forget.and just between you and me but i drive it better then dad lol.it has been a good life lesson not just with driving but not letting things get to you, you only have one life and its to short to be dwelling on the negatives, and belive me i have been through alot more crap then most 18 yr olds i have had to try and think postive even when things seem like they cant get any worse just be thankful for what you have and dont stop hoping and dreaming.
cheers SMURF
