Dont know what the go is with parents!! I mean, I would never allow my teenagers to sail around the world solo, or climb mt everst... geez, dont these parents think about their kids or is it a "look at my kids what they did" BS :mad:

The parents seem to be wealthy individuals, that might have something to do with it, what ordinary working parent could afford to bankroll these kids who set out on these "adventures"!!;)

Man, i wish i'd been an attention seeking teenager, would have been so much fun be it climbing Everest, sailing around the world or any other adventure. Best I can tell the girls is 'I've climbed Mount Druitt' :D

Damn right mate.
There's just a few very sad and pathetic people on AURLO who can't seam to handle hearing of other people's success. Maybe they never achieved any of their own goals and that's why they are bitter. Who knows?

And yet when kids are in teh streets at night we always say their parents soudl be guiding them better in life / they should be doing something constructive.
Stop whinging about kids accomplishing things. Get aout there and accomplish something yourself !
