My D4 is booked in on 1st of June for Q093. It is also getting the missing tailgate badges at the same time.

I had to book it in for this myself there was no letter or contact advising that it was happening.

When did this come in? My D4 is on the water, will it need it?

Maybe it might need Q094... :)

You would need to ask your dealer.

Did mine 3 weeks ago.
I didnt have any problems to start with but it is still required to be done.

Depending on what model engine etc you have there is a list of downloads that need to be done.

Also a Batery check 7 it may be replaced if in the VIN range or a peticular vehicle that is specified.

KVM (Keyless Vehicle Module)updates
Drivers/Passengers Door module updates
Aerial Updates
Turbo solenoid 3.0Ltr only update replacement.
BCM (Body Control Module)updates
& a few others i cant recall of the top of my head.

The vehicles coming into dealerships now no longer require the updates as they have been done in the UK.

So if u are waiting a vehicle & it is to turn up in the next month or so it may not require the Program.
The dealer should carry out a full check to see if "ANY" update is available when PDing the vehicle.

Cheers

Had mine done on Monday (at last!), and so far very good. All known niggly issues dealt with (windows etc), and seems to run smoother (if that is possible) and have even more grunt (again, if possible) - head mechanic said that was likely due to the turbo solenoid replacement. Dunno if this is logical, but it's fun "checking to see..."

The main thing I'm interested to find out is whether or not my fuel consumption improves - again according to the mechanic this is supposed to be an outcome for "certain VIN numbers", due maybe to the solenoid thingy and maybe to software upgrades. Will post some outcomes in a week or two, as I know my bus has been at the thirstiest end of the range.
