Hi all
Recently in the mornings turn key wait for all the lights to go out and fire her up, engine fires up no probs but as soon as the engine fires the traction control, hill desent and abs lights come on for a second and then go off.

Not getting any ding ding noises and for the rest of the day everthing is back to normal no matter how many stops and starts

I had the modulator fixed/reco'd about 4 months ago $1400.00.

Any suggestions??? (D2 2002 TD5 auto)

Thanks Andrew

I thought most lights came on for a second then went out as part of a systems check.

However if your reporting this as an issues due to it not happening before then I guess my thoughts are wrong.

I don't own a TD5 but I just thought it was something most modern cars did

correct, all lights come on for an "idiot light" check then go out. TC/ABS stay on for 10 seconds for the ABS while it does an extended check and the TC goes out once the speed goes over 10 (might be 20) kph for the first time since start up and then stays out till either the systems are activated OR you get a fault.

as the primary components of HDC/TC/ABS are all the same when one part of the system has a fault all the systems have a fault. Dont panic too hard they will still work as well as they can and its likely to be something simple if you get the three lights at once...

Search for info on "the 3 amigos" on the forum.

it could also be the secret landrover code for

"shoulda boughta deefa"

Thanks Dave I'm hoping its somthing simple, Every thing is working as it should, ABS TC & HD all ok. Maybe the computer is just being extra careful and checking stuff twice:)

I would have bought a Defender, but no good ones around at the right price at the time, see lots now naturally.
