Looking at a few of the threads couldnt find anything related to 20" tyres, it seems that there are more LT tyres for 20" than 19".
Any reason why no one is going for the larger rims to get more tyre options?

The below site has a good search tool to help review tyres.

The problem lies with the size of the tyre you can fit to the 20" rim. If you limit yourself to the OEM tyre diameter of around 30", if 20" of that is rim (instead of 19"), there is less sidewall. In other words, lower profile.

In the real world, there are more choices in 20", but most of them are over-size. If that doesn't worry you (and is legal in your state), then yes, you can fit 285/50/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ's or similar. Most of the threads on here are focussing on legal tyre sizes (and in Victoria at least, that seems to be pretty limiting)

Cheers,
