I must admit I felt somewhat dirty when I fitted a silvia turbo to my 4BD1...

I was at the exhaust shop the other day, to get the exhaust fixed on my saab turbo. I noticed a silvia up on the hoist, which had just been fitted with a straight through 2.5" exhaust - not a muffler in sight.

I asked the shop owner if it had a turbo. He said it was NA, and he tried to talk the owner out of it... (the car had p plates - no surprises there ;) )

I bet it would be less than 24 hrs until he gets a canary. Any advances???

I'd laugh if he got picked up doing a wheelie as he leaves the exhaust shop:D It will sound bloody awful. Bit like a billy goat farting in a jam tin.:confused:

The young bloke likely thinks his new exhaust sounds hotter than two hamsters farting in a woolen sock.
I'd think he would be as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof when the boys in blue hear it:D
Id say he will last as long as a fart in a wind storm;)

If it's an SR20, they sound bad with a proper exhaust. Good engine, but sound like a tractor. This one is guaranteed to get laughed at. But some people just know what's best...
