G'day all.
Trying to track down a recent copy of LandRover Owners International magazine.
Well actually, just a couple of pages.
Think it was the April 2010 edition, not 100% sure, but it was recent.
I do know the cover had "4x4x40" across the front cover.
This issue contains an specific article about fixing/repairing water ingress (leaks!) in D2's.
Has anyone got a copy of the above magazine/article?
If so, what are the chances of having a scanned copy of that article emailed over please?
Hoping someone can help (before it gets too wet!).
Cheers in advance.....

That would be awesome. I fully understand the not lending them out bit, not a prob.
A photocopy or scanned image would be fantastic, if we can arrange it.
It's just a copy of that "leaky D2" article I am after, if it's in that issue.
Where in W.A are you? Ashby is NOR, between Wanneroo and Tapping/Carramar, just off Wanneroo Rd.
Cheers

.... just have to work out how to photocopy it now
Don't photo copy it .... Try taking a photo of the page instead
Set the Digital camera to Macro ... Hold the page flat ... Fill the whole screen with the page ... Then just Email off the JPEG
Much kinder to the mag, better than scanning

Mike like your style, but you are suggesting I use a digital camera unfortunatley I cannot I am allergic to such an extent that I have no option but smash the **** out of one that comes in close proximaty, in order that I don't break out in a hot sweat hives and convulsions.
If I use my phone camera I can pretend I am using the phone functions and that appears to be ok.
I think it may be that because I do medium format photography and dark room printing I have developed this rare allergic reaction.

Andy
I apologise profusely for the foul language that I had wrote ... Unfortunately, it's not my fault, as the swear filter should have deleted it
I will never mention the "D" word again in the presence of yourself
However, you could just take a Happy snap of it, and post it on ... :D

Andy, yes mate that was the article. Lots of useful info there. May even be worth me scanning and sticking up on here if the admins would allow?
Managed to read your scribble - only takes me 45 mins door-to-door into the city, no big hassle on the train. Cheaper than running the V8 up and down the Mitchell anyway.
The "super-sexy-silver-speed-machine" gets me to the station most dry days, failing that, the Disco gets it's daily run!

Yes, that's my D2 doing it's bit for oil preservation back into the ground!
If it was ONLY the sump I'd be happy! At least I know it's always running fresh new oil!
Gave up worrying a long time ago....
See, most people I know locally and who come to visit have Deefers, so maybe she was feeling a bit left out there.....:p

I would rather stay living in Greenwood (closer to the city -not that I ever go there) and be able to drive the tractor to work ...can only think you guys worked in the city in the old country and are commuting maniacs lol
