Sold my truck

So look out N.S.W cause it`s coming your way soon.:DYep a mad punter from some were in N.S.W has brought my old beast.Should be a memorable trip back for him.Truck should do the trip fine.Think the new owner might a bit frazzled by the time he is back home.Said he would look at the noise issue when he gets back.I`m sure it will be on his to do list.:DIt`s ok enough,but it will get to you after a few hours driving.

I must admit in my defence, :angel: I did offer him the deefer, but the waggon was closest to the road, and parking the deefer in. After making necessary arrangements over the phone, like how to start the diesel, first call was an hour later, "any trick to getting it out of reverse, its sort of stuck in the middle of the road, and by the way looks like its leaking a lot of something" I don't think he initially believed me that it does not leak:angel: although he did notice that the leak was also in front of the waggon, where he had not driven, mainly because of said problem with reverse. I also don't think he believed the "poke your tongue out, and wiggle the gearstick" solution. It must have worked, because he was home when I staggered in late.
Anyway, to cut it short, he got his trailer where it needed to go, he fueled it up, passed comment on the windscreen wipers that don't work in the rain, pointed out that it was a bit different (or difficult) to drive and thanked me kindly.
However I suspect he may be more appreciative of the deefer next time!(or maybe just decline any of my helpful offers and suggestions)

that was that old toyota dyna / FJ hybrid wasn;t it???

Yeah it was the old Dyna/land cruiser.So balances the car numbers again,one has come from N.S.W and ones going back.
