Disco 3 Stereo

Recently my Disco had to be jump started and now I have no stereo. I've searched the books and there is no code written anywhere. What can I do?:(

you should be able to get it from land rover if you go to a dealer with your vin no. and rego.

Is it necessary? I know with my Tarago that needed a code it actually stated in the manual to type in the code. But the books that came with the disco have no mention anywhere of a code!

No security codes on D3s. It might need activating with the LR gear for some reason.

The radio is one of the first things to drop out if the battery is weak though. Have you found out why you needed a jump start?

are you saying that the radio might need a re-boot.......?
like disconnecting the battery......or will that upset other systems.......?

Then again, it might not be, knowing LRs :(.
