I unplugged my Glow Plug relay today and the mating face of the multiplug has a ford logo on it. Its a VA 97 D1 and the harness is original. What was the Ford connection at that time?

Next time anyone else is tinkering on their 300Tdi pull the relay and see if its got ford on it too (pretty please).

Oh and yes, to answer the obvious my you'll now find my car in the markets. I may be many things but a Ford driver, no:wasntme:.

Sorry Ian
XFN,they only did them prior to the XG.
Was the same as a falcoon XF Spac 5speed ute, company car.
Was cheaper from Nissan and had double the ford warranty!!!
NICE UTE,enjoyed driving it up to the Kimberleys and back BRAND NEW,much to the company owners disgust!!!!
FULL PRIVATE USE was in my contract!!!

I stand corrected Andy. I also had an XF company car, new head at 160k km and new short engine at 200k km.

They probably ran out of harnesses and told someone to head down to Southampton and grab a few off the Ford Transit production line. That may have been the ground work for a the TDCi Defender:D.

Allegedly the cruise control on my 200Tdi Disco was a dealer fitted option. They clearly just sent an apprentice to Repco during a lunch break to pick up a generic kit:p.
