Hi Guys
Has anybody got a % rise that the fair pay commision handed down today???
Our pay agreement is linked to it.We have already had 12 months of 3%extra because they handed down 0% last year,so the shire handed on 3% until the next rise.We now get matched again anything 3%+ is a win for us:cool::cool::cool: Under 3% and we loose some:mad::mad::mad:

Pay rise is always nice, problem is at what expense.
Bosses are straining now, my wage bill at the bar is more than ever, turnover is not growing because of people cutting their spending.

Next 6-12 months will show true GFC. Building work is slowing, banks have reduced their lending ratio for developers and many just sitting back now and on it goes.

I truly hope the financial sector can sustain and the yanks can pull a rabbit out of their hat. Thats what got us in so much strive in the 1st place.
Yeah sure lets build a house for everyone in the US.
The Great USA-- Well facts are not everyone can afford a house and loans for 130% are just plain crazy. Love the american attitude. NOT.

Now you got me started:cool::angel:

I wish for payrise also but not to the detriment of the company.
My last review, we all said no to payrise in order for us all to keep a job.

I love my day job-- :)

Any pay rise is good for me, because CPI increases are the only pay rise we get. The union has no interest in the security industry, if it wasn't for weekend penalty rates it wouldn't be worth going to work. Even cleaners are on a higher hourly rate than me.

QLD ambos have been fighting for a payrise for the past couple of years. The government didnt want to negotiate and sent us straight to arbitration which has dragged out for the past 18 months.

My wife in childcare however would be impacted by this, thats if her boss bothers to implement it in a timely fashion.

As a business owner in engineering/manufacturing, who can afford a payrise????? Ive taken a 50% paycut just so I can retain some of my staff....and now the bloody super increase!....if only it was just 3%....but it affects payroll tax, insurance, and the list goes on. This government is sending me broke! and losing jobs at the same time.

but in a couple of years you get a reduction in company tax... assuming you are making a profit after all these increased expenses....

LOL, Rudd is driving this country into the ground.
