Picked it up this afternoon, the '05 TDV6 SE that I have been harping on about warranties and recalls and the rest, for the last couple of weeks.
Thanks to sneigy, rmp, Neil P and everyone else who stuck their two bob in and gave their advice at times and a big thanks to GGHaggis who I met this arvo on the way home. I will be signing up for the info night and full day trip.
I will bang some photo's up over the weekend, if anyone is interested, as I want to see how it looks connected up to the camper trailer.
Cheers, and thanks again,
Norm

Hi Norm, congrats mate.
If you dont mind me asking, what did you pay, how many Klm's etc? I have a mate looking for one at the moment.
Cheers, Craig

No probs Craig,
I paid $49,990 and it had 97k on the clock.
Other than tinting and the factory tow pack, it's pretty bog standard.
The price is probably a little on the high side but there are very very few D3's in the local market here in Perth, in fact, nearly all used D3's over here are bought in on trucks from the East.
In my search for one over the last 8 or so weeks, there were only 3 TDV6's in Perth, one with 178k on the clock and another with about 120k from memory, that were in the price range I wanted.
Maybe its just dealer speak but they don't last long when they do get here.

Congrats Norm,
It's certainly looks a well looked-after car! Try not to get too infected by the 'accessorise' bug!
Cheers,
Gordon

Aah Neil, your a pessimistic one aren't you?
You're probably spot on though. Still, market price is market price and if you want one, you have to pay don't you?
Gordon, too late mate, but I will go slowly I think. I would like a snorkel but when I think back to my two previous 4WD's, I can count the number of creeks I went through on the fingers of one finger. I think I'm a big fan of the idea of accessories rather than my actual use of the accessory.
I will see how SWMBO goes on a case by case basis...
Cheers guys,
Norm
