Well everyone's favourite screwball, Harold Scruby, is at it again.
On "Sunrise" this morning spouting about how front number plates should be reintroduced on bikes  He claims it has allowed "thousands" of bikers to escape numerous speeding fines.
In Qld at least almost all speed cameras are set up to photograph the REAR of a speeding vehicle. Is this any different elsewhere?
Harold is never one to let facts get in the way of a good story.
Next, he says, motorcyclists are 25 times more likely to be killed in a crash than is a car driver and so should pay 25 times the insurance !!!
One of the presenters askd him if that was fair on riders who do the right thing aka the majority. Harold said that wasn't a valid argument !
No you can;t tellme the news organisations don't know exactly what they are going to get from Scruby. They do, and yet they put him on there presumably to raise people's ire (seems to have worked for me today!) That's hardly good journalism. They had Scruby and the head of the police union on there. Naturally enough, no-one representing bike riders.
So I have added to my **** list for the day:
