After 90,000kms of faithful service, with only one instance of a failure (tyre wore through harness after retaining clip broke) the D3 was handed over to the dealer yesterday.

Someone will be getting a solid second hand vehicle with a little bit of factory warranty to run, although unlikely to be utilised.

Now just 2 months until the D4 arrives. :D Apparently came out of the factory last Tuesday. Come on August (not wanting to wish my life away).

August? Damn that's a long time off....not really, but while waiting it seems a long time. Sorting my D4 from a dealer's lot took a few weeks to finalise (mainly due to sorting out a lease first with the lease company winding up operations and not able to find paperwork AGAIN). Seemed like a year or more with the wait. Mind you, I could drive past the dealers any time I wanted and see the car (did that once at night when we went to dinner down that way and showed the host's the car).

I'm sure you'll enjoy the new car though whenever it finally reaches the driveway.
