It's value depends very largely on how accurately the restoration has been done - a very original 48 model in poor condition will be worth a lot more than a very good one which has been rebuilt with a lot of the wrong parts or which has been "updated".
Without this sort of information, it is impossible to even guess at a price, and as usual, condition is all important, as is any special provenance. A few pictures would help, but the value could be anywhere from perhaps $1500 - $10,000; and even these numbers are not the outside possibilities!
So, the answer is - not enough information.

nahh, its old, a scrappy would give you maybe $200 for it and dick you around for timings as well..
tell you what, I'll pay you $300 just incase you know a generous scrappy and I'll come round at the time of your choosing in 2 weeks time to pick it up.

Don't want to be a grump, BUT......
PUT IT ON EBAY. YOU'LL SOON FIND OUT.
This forum is not a valuation service.

CCCC is correct, we are supposed to delete threads asking for valuations.
Ebay will only give you a good value when it is correctly listed on a day/week when people have money for that sort of thing. i.e. If three 1948 models have gone off in the last month the value may be low, conversely if it's the first one for a year the price high. Then the people have to be watching - so if you want the best price don't sell on a holiday period and have a long auction timeframe.
Remember that Dunsfold's restored a 1950 model 18 months ago for 30,000GBP, so some people have money.

Hi there all
Its difficult to put a price on some thing - but there is alot of enthusust whom would love to own a early 48'.
There are a huge restoration task, as parts are difficult to obtain.
All the best with the sale.
