Gday...
Julie & I have just become the owners of a 2006 Discovery 3 Auto TDV6 Diesel.
We will be using the Discovery as our tow vehicle for our 23ft Golden Eagle caravan on our journeys around Aust for hopefully many years to come.
We have always been Landy fans since our early days with Series 3 Landies and travelling everywhere. However, we have been HiLux and Landcruiser owners predominately since.
For the last 3 years we have owned a Hyundai Terracan CRDi auto which was a really good vehicle - caused no problems at all. We traded up to the Discovery for the extra towing capacity.
Like so many non-Discovery owners we have heard the stories of how fantastic they are .... but can be unreliable. Despite that, we have bitten the bullet and will hopefully have obtained one that will continue with no problems.
So, that is a little introduction to us. We have been browsing the forum and look forward to continuing to gain good info/advice over time.
