hi,

Just received a call from wife, some truck, unable to stop in time, hit the disco from behind. Any recommendations for repairers in Brisbane?

Insurance should pick it up so would like to take to best place if possible

thanks

Not good - hope the damage to the missus is nil and to the vehicle minimal.

thanks all,

Misus is ok, thank goodness, she had a whiplash, pretty common for that sort of accident, burns me up really but what can you do. the guy had the nerve to ask why she stopped (she had to 'coz the car infront of her did).

Booked the disco in for assessment on thursday, had a quick look and obvious damage are the dent on the bottom half of the tailgate (next to the plates), the bumpers pushed in with the scuff plates popped-out. I'll wait what the insurance dude says. Makes me wonder though, what sort of damage could it have suffered other tha what can be seen by the naked eye? I mean, internal damage, damage to electronicals etc?

cheers

No use stressing about it. I had a 10 month old Nissan 350z that was t-boned by a young lad doing burn outs. I thought it would be a write-off: the back wheel was hanging off at 45 degrees! The insurance company opted to fix it - even to the day I sold it you couldn't tell it had been significantly damaged. It rode as good after the prang as the day I drove it out of the showroom.

Leave it to the experts. They generally do a top notch job nowadays.
