LR front bar

A quick question, Dose anyone know if you can bolt an electric winch straight to the factory land Rover steel bull bar as fitted to the 2002, 110 Extreme. The bar in question has round holes in the webbing. Would it be best to fit a winch plate and keep the winch clear of the bar. The bar has the holes for the standard winch bolts.
Any answers would be most welcome.

i fitted a premier winch to my 2002 defender factory bull-bar had no issues with it . bolted straight in although did have to make one of the push out panels a little bigger to enable to lock /unlock winch , also fitted 2 recovery points to the bull-bar with no issues once again

Just bolt straight in
