I have noticed a few people using riv nuts etc. I like the idea of these and have been trying to find some and the tool required but have had no luck.

Can anyone tell me where they bought theirs?

Thanks,

I am in North Brisbane and each place I have been to know of them but not where to get them.

I am going to try online and see if that helps.

Aerofast at Underwood sell the rivnuts. I needed some aluminium ones and they had them in stock.
I'm not sure if the sell the gun but I'm sure they could source them.

The reason most people don't know about RivNuts is that in Australia they are known as NutSerts!

Coventry sell them.

I bought my rivnuts from Bolts and Industrial Supplies in Salisbury.

They asked if I needed the tool but I didn't. So I assume they sell the tool.

I ended up getting the tool from Trade Tools. Definetely not cheap but hopefully it lasts forever.

It is Japanese made apparently, brand is Lobster and comes in a metal case with four different size dies etc.

The rivnut tools seem to vary depending on what size rivnuts are needed.
For example you can get
M3 - M8
M6 - M12

What would be the most useful for us ?
