New roof top tent ordered

Have recently put in an order for a Hannibal Roof Top Tent. It's a whopper. 2.4 metre tent with twin doors and ladders. Peter at Hannibal has been very helpfull and patient as usual. He actually tried to undersell to me (to get a 2m instead of 2.4m) Gave some very good reasons for it too. Unfortunately wife and kids prefer the bigger unit. Of course we know better, so the big one it is. Hope his advice doesn't come back to haunt me later.

We have at least a month wait. As usual getting very excited and mentally planning holidays. Even intend putting it up when we go to the beach. Missus is doing a lot of shift work lately, and the idea of going to the beach with us and still get some comfy sleep appeals.

Taken a bit longer than expected. Our 2m (apparently they don't do a 2.4) tent is being fitted this afternoon. At least we have had the 1.8m tent for the last several months. Enough time to realise that, yes, we do want the bigger tent. And with the amount of rain we've had, we do want the jumbo fly to cover the ladders.

Yes. Me too, still unseen,by us anyway.
The smaller one has proven very easy to put up and away. hope this one will be similar.
