Hi All, I have been lurking here for a few months now gleaning as much useful info as possible while hunting for a D3. I finally found one in Melbourne and flew down to pick it up last month and during the 3950klm drive home to Cairns including up through the snowy mountains, I grew to understand all the hype. If I had made a wish list of requirements, I probably wouldn't of thought of all the features this car has. It is an 05 2.7 HSE fitted with Ediff, ARB b/bar, warn winch with plasma rope, liteforce XGT spots, dual batteries, ARB compressor, updated factory sat nav, explorer roof rack with carry bag, Kaymar rear bar and single wheel carrier, lone ranger long range fuel tank, factory waterproof seat covers, tint, paint protection, and rust proofing It also came with 4 steel spoked 17" rims and cooper ST tires. The alloy rims are also 17".
I feel extremely fortunate to have found a good clean straight D3 but an absolute bonus to have found one so well set up.

I need an A/C compressor and drier if anyone can recommend a supplier.
After 35 years of Toyota ownership it has been quite a plunge for me but so far so good, looking forward to getting better aquainted with this car. Chasing Barra in Lakefield last weekend it was awesome.
Cheers Rob

I also have a cargo barrier that I don't need if interested.

just saw it for sale on ebay and then car sales. Looks like the first owner was a member of the land rover owners club so I would be surprised if there wasn't at least one person here who knows the car/owner well.

I was a tad dissapointed to see it come up for sale cause I had just bought my stock but fully optioned hse d3 (minus e-diff) about 3 weeks earlier after searching for about 3 months for a car with one.

Hi Rob,
I dont know the car/owner personally but my brother in law knows the owner, Brad. He brought it around to his work a few months ago then sent me an sms photo of the car to p!ss me off because he knows how much i love them!! Its a good buy with all the goodies on it. Small world!!:D

Create an album and upload the photos. Just search the FAQ above for "albums" then read the instructions. It's not hard once you've got it.

Mate, I am technically retarded and I have managed it so it can not be too hard.

I downloaded and saved some photos to my computer and then attached them to my post by clicking the "manage attachments" button in the Additional Options screen which is available when you are typing a post.

I know this because I can see it below as I type this post.

They then come up as thumbnails at the bottom of your post and people can simple click on then and view them.

I think there are many ways to do this but i found this the most simple.

Looking forward to seeing you new rig.
