the idiot sticker on drivers door panel,,,,,, quotes quite variable psi,,,,for load variations from 30 f-------to 55 r

were talking ,,,,average loads not expedition with kitchen sink?????????

how long is a piece of string

i run 40psi on the black stuff regardless of load running BFG AT's and MT's

off road.......so many variables, i have never needed to go below 18psi

~57PSI all round on road. Good even wear on these tyres. Very very quiet. Might get round 60K before they get down to indicators.

20PSI in mud/wet clay.

Bugger to pump back up to road pressures though!

your tyre pressure will vary from tyre type to type on the same vehicle with the same load Ive had to adjust tyre pressure by as much as 10 PSI to get the contact patch nice.

we have been as low as 12psi in the puma on stockton beach...was an amazing difference between 12 and the 14 we were running when we got stuck

Currently running 36 PSI all round - on BFG MT KM2 285/75/16. Will probably revert to 38 or 40 PSI for longer trips.

Out of interest - for those with aggressive MT patterns like Maxxis Bighorn, MTZ and BFG MT - do you notice a difference in noise levels at highway speeds with different pressures?

Not that I've noticed, and i've used Bridgetsone MT's, BFG MT's and now Maxxis BH 762's

iv driven on the black with 18psi as have to at glasshouse wiht out tyre pump,, no real noise diff, back up to 40 and no diff,, i have 265/75 MTRs
